These tees are an ongoing graphic design project based on my home state. New Jersey is about as old as it gets when it comes to state history. It's also densely populated and filled with a million delicious town names just aching for some creative product placement. The original idea came from my husband; he and other friends and family have continued to add to the list of "fake" NJ tee ideas.
Shotgun CrossFit is unique among high intensity gyms - the owners embrace their small-town setting and actively work to promote a sense of community. Custom seasonal apparel is available for all gym members at cost. Images at right were part of the Spring 2015 line of tank tops, featuring a custom-designed graphic.
Backwuds Barbee is a regular client; I've been a part of the seasonal apparel design process for several years. The images pictured here are from the Spring 2015 line, my favorite to date. This line featured four custom-design graphics on six different shirts, available for sale on BackwudsBarbee.com. (Part of my work with Backwuds Barbee apparel includes preparing art for screenprinting, an extra step not included in print-on-demand designs.)
One of my favorite projects is the "one off" graphics for things like team tees, family reunions, or inside jokes. Pictured at right are examples of various bespoke designs custom-created for special events or people. (Unless the client has another preferred printer, I use CustomInk - easy to modify both design elements and print products.)

Backwuds Barbee usually has at least one specialty top per year, generally in the fall apparel line. These tops include elements like multi-color designs, gold foil, or rhinestone accents. The process for designing, printing, and finishing these tops is more complex than simple screen-printing, and always ends up looking incredible!
