My work and free time are spent doing one of a few things: reading/writing, building things on computers, or making something by hand.
An undergraduate degree in English led me to the publishing field, where I worked as an editor. Later I moved to a corporate office as a buyer’s assistant, managing the communications and marketing for two multi-million dollar departments of a chain store. Later I worked at a regional community college as coordinator and director of a student service program, webmaster, and grant-writer.
For my graduate degree I focused on the area of visual and digital rhetoric and composition, studying what works (and why) in a multimodal environment. These days I am brand manager, webmaster, and all-around client contact for a mid-sized corporation.
I’m delighted to be surrounded by creative, intelligent people and even more delighted to be able to add to their awesomeness with my contributions.
